On Oct 12th the world literally stopped for me. My precious Natasha, a 10 1/2 yr old serval, was rushed to the emergency room; on Monday evening she had major surgery and the vet repaired a perforated ulcer, took half the sphincter muscle out, grafted her stomach to the intestines, and removed the blood that had been filling in the stomach cavity since Saturday...to say the least, she has been a very sick kitty. She has a long way to go in her recovery--each day is a baby step. I thank you all for all your prayers and positive healing thoughts. The night of Natasha's' Emergency room visit, as I was walking out the door, I received a call from Alabama; three baby servals had just been born, a girl and two boys, just like Natasha had had yrs ago. I thought ,"Oh God , please don't take her, but thank you God , there are three more baby servals on the face of the earth, truly a blessing amidst the fear and sadness in my own heart, but joyful that three more live...their own mother died, they were cold and half dead when they were found. Elaine brought them inside and warmed them and got tubes to tube feed them. She revived all three. And they purred like little motor boats, HAPPY TO BE ALIVE, three tiny, precious serval babies.
Natasha survived her surgery and thru your prayers and the magic and miracles of this incredible cat bb, and the angels of the bb, she is slowly making progress....it is 14 days now...and she is keeping a little fish down , yesterday a little chicken, last night, regressed, vomited the chicken, today, ate the smelt, there is NO blood in the vomit and the vet is actually hopeful now the repair will hold, one of his biggest concerns, and she has no fever, so he is sure she is past the hurdle of the blood poisioning. Another victory for the bb...and she has some special motivation, your special love and prayers, and somehow, all those prayers moved the heart of God and Heaven itself, for , I had to go from Wisconsin to Atlanta Ga for a hearing on cat related business to help the owners of a cat. I was a witness for the defense.
I did not want to leave my precious Natasha, but the vet assured me she would be ok for one day, as I left Wednesday night and returned Thursday night. And she was fine, I got my head crunched in an electric revolving door!!! duuuuhhhhhhh, it will heal, thank you for your prayers...I saw angel feathers there in the door, must have helped cushion the blow to my head!! God bless the angels of the cat bb....but it does not stop here my dear dear family, it gets better. That day, a large package of EARTH arrived from AFRICA, Natasha's ancestors home land. Natasha KNEW it was from her homeland and the bag/pouch was not even opened, she JUMPED UP AND STARTED CHIRPING, it is a special sound servals make, sounds like "me-app", many times closely together. And she was purring!! Like her old self, not half hearted , but joyfully,....and...going onto that plane from Atlanta to Wisc, I was carrying a tiny, little package, a very special little package, a gift....that I KNOW could only have come from the prayers and love of the cat bb, for there were tiny angel feathers in the plane, and around the tiny gift package I was carrying. I got home and took the tiny package to Natasha, she was so happy, for she thinks this package of love is for her, she thinks it is her very own, and it is...you are wondering by now what this package of love and joy is aren't you?? It is definitely a miracle, and a gift of love from the angels of the cat bb....
I have gotten some special emails the past couple weeks, thank you so much, but yesterday a very special one came from our dear LISAVIOLET, she was telling me about Lonee and how beautiful it is to watch her running full out, she described it so perfectly, the scene I see so many times myself, a cat, running full out...grace and strength, beauty, such to behold ....and I knew that she knew....they RUN LIKE THE WIND...like a gentle whisper of tiny voices singing the most beautiful of songs in the heavens, I could hear the angels, and I listened, I learned last week to listen to the whisper of the Lord's answers. And I knew that the special little gift now had a real name, we have been blessed with the miracle of life, a precious baby boy serval , born Oct 12th. He is 14 days old now, gold with black spots and smaller than the smallest beanie baby, he is about the size of an eggroll! and his name is RUNS LIKE THE WIND......
Thank you , for your prayers, what ever you said to the GREAT SPIRIT, HE listened, and Natasha thinks he is her own baby, she washes him and will wake me up if I am sleeping and it is time to feed him, he is on a bottle and has to be fed about every three hours. He is drinking Kittylac formula with vitamins (nutridrops) and some nutracal in the formula with a bit of rice baby cereal added to it. He has to be stimulated to potty, he is an angel baby, he is so precious and such a good baby and the moment you touch him or he sees you, he is a purr machine, non stop!! He purrs while he feeds.....and Natasha purrs....John O'D scanned some pics of him that we took this weekend, there are more today that are clearer, but I promise to post them as soon as they can be scanned, for RUNS LIKE THE WIND is your golden baby boy too...and I will share his life with each and everyone of you. He even has a little pillow we made with some African soil in it for it is from holy ground. The homeland of their ancestors....thank you Sheila, and John, Lisaviolet, Deb D, Maryellen, Naf!! The Mean Mice, Cyberpunzel, and all the loving family, each and everyone at the cat bb....for this is truly a place of miracles and magic. If you have a sick baby, come here, stay here, share with us, let us pray for your babies , for miracles abound here, so does LOVE, CARING , and COMPASSION.
