- Susan's Dream
-
- The most unusual dream of my life occurred just a few
months ago. In the dream, my daughter Elizabeth and I are standing
next to Queen Elizabeth, with her large beautiful castle directly
behind us. In front of us is a big fish pond, and my daughter
Elizabeth is fishing in it. It is a wondrous day in the
- dream, with an air of great excitement and joy in the air.
Liz (my daughter) catches a HUGE goldfish, about 5 feet long, and
as she pulls it to shore, it transforms into a mermaid type
creature. We are not scared, we are happy and excited. The water
of the pond is sparkling blue, the sky is blue, the grass
- is green and there are flowers everywhere!
-
- I thought this dream was so unusual, I told Liz about it,
and my husband. The following week, my husband told me about a
house he had seen for sale in the real estate section of our local
newspaper. We hadn't even been looking for another house, but I
agreed to view it with him. We loved the house on first sight, but
thought it was priced a bit too high. The following day, the
realtor called and told us the price had been lowered, so we made
an offer, which was accepted.
-
- Now the truly amazing part: How does our home purchase and
my dream fit together? The people who owned the house we purchased
met us at the door when we took our children to see it for the
first time. Mrs. Jennings, the wife, welcomed us."Come in luvs,
and have a look "round. Just makes yourself
- to home now!" She proceeded to tell us in her delightful
accent, that she was a native of Great Britain, and had married
her husband in World War II. If that wasn't enough to surprise me,
within a week of moving in, we spoke to our new next door
neighbors. They are a sweet retired couple, and the man
- couldn't wait to show me his pride and joy. You guessed it:
a large beautiful fish pond in their back yard! He also described
the 3 large golden carp he had purchased in the spring, telling me
, "They can grow this long, " as he held his hands out wide.
-
- I found the whole experience to be a wonder. My husband was
quite content where we lived previously, and had never expressed a
desire to move. So when he came home talking about this house "I
had to see," I had no idea just how prophetic my dream would prove
to be! Susan
-
- Another detail of the dream which proved true: Mrs.
Jennings left me her rose garden to tend, which of course she
called her "English Rose Garden!"
-
- Susan
-
- Does this fit the profile of
a precognitive dream? Sounds like it to me.(-:
- Thanks, Susan, for sharing
this delightful experience!
