The Ghost Woman
 
There is a ghost in the house where I used to live.
 
Yes... my parents still live there. My dad saw "her" once. She was looking out what used to be a window that would
look into the backyard... two bedrooms have been added to the back of the house since, so now it is just a wall. He said
she was dressed in a long skirt & long sleeved shirt... her hair was brown & was fashioned in maybe a 40's hairstyle.
He stared at her & she turned and looked at him. He shut his eyes & shook his head, said he didn't believe what he
was seeing. When he opened his eyes again she was gone.
 
Mom has been in the basement doing laundry... I was at school & dad at work, neither of us scheduled to be home for
hours... she kept hearing footsteps upstairs... and wondered why one of us had come home so early. She went upstairs
& no one was there... all the doors & windows were still locked. I have been witness to the noises in the basement too..
you can tell when the ghost is walking upstairs & can even tell which room she is in.
 
My scary story comes from a weekend that my parents were in Arkansas visiting my dad's family. I was like 21 & had
stayed home because I had to work that weekend. The house scares me. The ghost has never done anything mean.. but
it is just spooky... so I always shut & lock EVERY door in the house before I went to bed... even the bathroom doors.
My parents have these glass French doors that go to their office where the computer is. 1 of these doors is always
locked with a latch that actually goes into the top of the Frame... the other locks with a key. Both doors were locked that
night. When I came downstairs the next morning. Both doors were WIDE open.. YIKES! I told the ghost to be nice
& called my parents (I was really FREAKING out)!
 
The time that *Jazmine ran down the stairs, it was funny with the exception that the ghost would have been upstairs in
MY bedroom! She had never been seen or heard anywhere but on the main level of the house. Her furr was just
standing on end & she was hissing & growling at the empty hallway... that is a true story. No-body was there.. and
mom & dad & *Aeriel were downstairs with me sitting in the front room. It was really weird.
 
But mostly what she does is just turn on & off lights, radios, televisions, the CD player etc... while you're in the room &
while you are sitting say... NO where near the light or the other things... not even near remotes.
 
Strange... I've move out & have not had any "supernatural" things happen in the new place. But mom & dad still do.
