I furgot ta menshun my hobbey--I like ta redeckerate chares dat meowmie rooned by puttin smooth stuff on em! Dis is my own chare, an nobuddy butt me sitts on it! Or I will swat dem!

Goldie is the smallest out of a litter of four born to Poppy , our blue-gray longhair, and Nicky, an orange shorthair who lived with us for a time before he was claimed by the road. This color-combination of parents nearly always produces tortie females and red, black, or gray males. Goldie's two sisters, Dolly and Crissy, were also torties, and her brother, Tuffy, was slate-gray.

She's a bit of a loner. Doesn't get along well with the other family members, especially her sister, Dolly, and she hates the d*gs--slaps them on the nose if they come near her! But she is definitely a mommy's girl--drapes herself across my lap as soon as I sit on the couch and won't leave unless I move her off--then she comes right back. She likes being told she's good as gold, and loves it when I sing "Goldie Bell" to the tune of Jingle Bells for her. How do I know she loves it? She doesn't run away when I sing, like nearly everyone else does.

Cute tricks? Nope! Unless you think passing wind and clawing a chair to death is cute. (Didn't much like the darned chair cover anyway, but sometimes I long for a gas mask!)
