Shibui: (thinking) Did I just see a fish? Oh, please let it be a fish...maybe I can catch it without ruining my gown.

Emily: (thinking) Why oh why did Madame Alto insist on my wearing this gown? The collar is much too stiff, and the whole ensemble is too dressy for one of Bitsy's dismal affairs!

Lily-Belle: (thinking) It's a good thing Lewis isn't here to see me in this miserable, shabby outfit. The Queen objected to my not wearing a dress, and "lent" me this thing she probably found at Samz Thrift Shopp.

Midnight: (thinking) As much as I like that Rushy fellow as a friend, I hope he doesn't turn up here. He's a bit weird for my taste, dressing like a girl all the time. I wonder if his hormones are OK.

Shibui: (thinking) I KNOW that was a fish. (aloud) Here fishy, here fishy!
