The Queen's Favorites: Symphonia Felina and Other Mewsical Masterworks

I really love my copy of "Symphonia Felina and Other Mewsical Masterworks", the fabulous music cassette from ClydeSight Productions. There's so much in it and it has such a wide range of emotions that it is timeless. This cassette first came out in 1998. I was delighted to read that it's back in 2004 in limited quantity. Fans of ClydeSight2.0! and music lovers the world over are in for a real treat, just as I was when I got my own copy.

Some of you may recall my Knighting Ceremony in 1997, when I appointed Sir Clyde Big Paws Master of the Queen's Mewsic. That was early in his mewsical career, but I could see then that he would make great strides in his chosen purrfession. I was not wrong! In his Symphonia Felina he scaled the heights of mewsical compurrsition. When it became available on cassette, along with other of his fabulous works, I immediately purrchased a copy, and must say that I was astonished by its clarity and brilliance.

The cassette is wonderful! It is amazing how much more you hear in the mewsic when it is played on a real sound machine rather than through the computer's measly speakers! I was especially impressed with the way my commissioned works have been rendered. The Tribute to Thusnelda brought tears to my eyes...and the Pomp and Purrcumstance march--such majestic sound! It is glorious!

I always loved ClydeSight2.0!, the fun and games cat site that features the adventures of Clyde Big Paws. When they introduced MIDI music on the site, I was very impressed, especially since the music was credited to Clyde himself! I liked the MIDI music so much that I commissioned ClydeSight to compose two special songs for my Castle. What a thrill to have special music composed just for me!

As MIDI on the Internet, the music was very good, and I thought it was fine. But WOW, the Internet doesn't deliver the punch and verve like the album does! You just hear so much MORE on this tape. You really have to hear it to believe it! And our special songs sound fantastic.

I consider the Cassette a living memorial to Clyde...a token that will recall his magnificent presence whenever it is played. I highly recommend it!

Yours furry purrly,

Bitsy
